About Sun Java® SCJA+ certification: The SCJA (Sun Certified java Associate) certification is the entry level certification offered by Sun Microsystems, considered to be authoritative in Java professionals. The next level of certification is SCJP (Sun Certified java Programmer) and is most widely taken java certification. Sun's SCJA validates your ability to develop applications using the Java language. It tests your basic understanding of OO concepts, the Java programming language and general knowledge of Java platforms and technologies. You have to take and pass only one test i.e. CX 310-019 to achieve the SCJA certification
